Project founder
The charitable project was inspired and is majorly sponsored by Ruslan Shostak—Ukrainian businessman, founder and co-owner of national retail chains EVA and VARUS. “The idea of theChildhood Without War project came up at the beginning of the war when I asked myself: “How exactly can I help my country in these hard times?” Children are the future of Ukraine. And for us to have a future, we need to save it now.
Children should not see war as it frightens, mutilates, destroys. It kills children’s dreams, and we—the adults—cannot allow that. We must save children and give them faith in the future.” No one knows for how long the war in Ukraine will go on. The Childhood Without War project will continue saving as many Ukrainian children as possible.
